Future Leader/Candidate Process
ì Phone Call – We start our process with a conversation: to find out about you, your career history, and your goals. If we don’t have a company that is a fit for you now, we will keep you in mind for future opportunities.
ì Complete Employment application- Future leaders are responsible for completing our two page profile and provide professional references.
ì Face to Face Meeting – Fernweh team members meet individually with our candidates face to face. Interviews may be conducted either in person or via Skype.
ª Needs and Wants List – When we meet, we’ll work with you to create a customized “Needs and Wants List” based on what’s important to you in a new opportunity.
} Examples: Industry, Commute, Environment, Flexibility, Culture, Compensation/Benefits, Responsibilities, Dress Code or Type of IPAs on tap.
ì Permission to Submit – All candidates must provide written (email counts) consent to a Fernweh, LLC team member which gives us permission to submit them for potential job opportunities, these requests are good until cancelled.
ì Interview Prep – Before the interview, we will provide you with information about the company, position and interviewers and provide interviewing tips as well as any feedback from your in-person meeting with us.
ì Debrief and Advice – After the interview, we will have a comprehensive debrief and determine if this is the right opportunity for you. If the client doesn’t think you are a fit, we will be authentic and provide feedback. If you do not like the opportunity, we want to find out what you did not like and work with you to identify another opportunity that fits what you desire.
ì Resignation and Transition Process – If requested we guide you through your transition.
ì Communication – Once you start your new position, we stay in contact whether you are a direct hire or a consultant. We will provide opportunities to grow as a leader, some paid, some volunteer and some learning opportunities.
ª As a consultant, we keep track of the experiences and skills you’re gaining on your consulting project, so we know which future assignments will work for you.
ª As a direct hire you may forward us this information to keep in your profile to identify other opportunities
